Savour the breathtaking beauty of Killarney, surrounded by shimmering lakes and the mountains of Macgillycuddy's Reeks. This popular holiday resort lies east of Ireland's highest mountain range, with peaks set between lakes, which dominate this charmed landscape. With excursions to the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula, we're sure you will find the Emerald Isle as relaxing as ever.
Day One
We leave the Yorkshire area early on the Frday morning to Holyhead, to catch the fast ferry to Dun Laoghaire and then onward to our overnight stay at the luxurious Abbey Court Hotel.
DDay Two
We leave Nenagh this morning and travel to Limerick for a stop for before travelling on to Adare for lunchwhich is one of Ireland's prettiest villages. We then travel on to Killarney later on this afternoon. The town is noted for its relaxing atmosphere and its jaunting cars, or pony and trap rides, which delight visitors.
B, DDay Three
Today we visit the town of Tralee, Kerry’s County town, with time to have a look at the famous rose gardens before continuing on around Tralee Bay to Dingle, one of Kerry’s best kept secrets. Dingle is a thriving, colourful fishing port backed by Brandon Mountain, and the peninsula is one of Ireland’s Gaelic speaking districts. On then around Europe’s most westerly peninsula, Slea Head, the unsurpassed beauty of its rugged coastline inspired director David Lean to shot his epic film ‘Ryan’s Daughter’ here. We return via the town of Castlemaine.
B, DDay Four
A free day to explore Killarney, why not take a pony and trap around the lake or just wander around the town or join one of the local tours to Muckross Park. (Tours depart three times a day from the bus station and tickets can be purchased on the bus).
B, DDay Five
A highlight of our holiday is today's tour of the spectacular 'Ring of Kerry', without doubt the most beautiful and renowned day tour in the whole country. This morning we visit the Kerry Bog Village Museum, which is a recreation of a typical village from 100 years ago. Then we follow the coast road around the Iveragh Peninsula, along the beautiful Atlantic coast for one hundred miles of breathtaking seascapes and outstanding views calling in at Cahirsiveen and the multi coloured village of Sneem. We return to Killarney through the famed Molls Gap, Ladies View and Killarney National Park.
B, DDay Six
After breakfast we leave Killarney towards Limerick and stop to explore Bunratty Folk Park with Mac's Pub and the famous Durty Nellys Pub. After your visit, return to the coach for your journey into the Dublin at the Brooks Hotel for two nights, Brooks Hotel includes bed and breakfast as we are sure you would rather make your own arrangements in the city for your evening meal.

A free day in Dublin.
BDay Eight
We leave Dublin around lunchtime for our fast ferry crossing to Holyhead and onward to Yorkshire for early evening.
